“what about plus size?”

I’d be RICH if I got a dollar for every time I was asked this. Or some form of this question. It's heartbreaking that women with some more mass to their bodies are even questioning if they're worthy for boudoir... and I WILL WORK MY ASS OFF TO CHANGE THIS PERSPECTIVE.

Women as a whole, typically struggle at some point in their life with their body image; and for a vast majority - we struggle MOST of the time. As we mature into adults, when we become mothers, and the entire time we're aging....

Society (and sometimes other sucky ass people) likes to make us think that there’s a certain size, style or shape of body that is ideal for all.

Which bluntly, is fucking trash.

I read a post somewhere awhile back that said “even if we all ate the same foods and did the same workouts, we’d all still have different shaped bodies.”

AND THAT'S IT Y'ALL. that’s the truth.

We all were created to be DIFFERENT. and besides, how boring would that be if we all were the same?

I’m here to tell you, that no matter your size, shape, number on the scale - ✨YOU'RE WORTHY.✨

you’re fucking worthy of every last thing your heart desires!! You’re absolutely worthy of investing in yourself! You're worthy of LOVING YOURSELF FIRST. You're worthy of joy and happiness.

but. I do seem to get the question “what about plus size girls?” More often than I’ve ever been asked about average girls? Or skinny girls?

Do I photograph them? YES.

Do I hype them? ALSO YES.

Would I encourage them to book a boudoir session? HELL YES!

I’ve shot SO MANY, curvy babes in my career. and every single one has walked out of my studio feeling more INCREDIBLE than when they walked in. No matter the current state of their confidence.

I accommodate each and every one just like I do other women (AS ALL BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOULD!) - I have a VAST selection of plus sized options in my client wardrobe in plenty of colors and flattering styles! I am also experienced in posing and image composition with flattering angles for curvier bodies! AND I STILL DON'T HAVE TO PHOTOSHOP ANYONE! you will still be able to pull your photo album out, or look at the metal print on your wall and it's GOING TO LOOK LIKE YOU! exactly how you are! because you don't need to change a single thing to be worthy of being hung on a damn wall. and I'll stand by that for the rest of my life. PLEASE, don't let anyone tell you (OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER!) that boudoir is fitted for a certain genre of body. and you sure as hell better not tell yourself that! IT'S ABSOLUTELY FALSE! and my mission here at CMP is to PROVE this to as many women as I possibly can in my coming career years AND BEYOND!
